Joy and happiness: after almost half a year, the restaurants were able to reopen their doors. On the terraces and in the interiors, we can finally enjoy our favourite dishes, cocktails and celebrate the best moments of our lives.
But of course, the reopening can only be enjoyed for a long time if we behave responsibly as individuals, so we believe it is important that certain unwritten ground rules are respected, both by guests and hosts.
- It is important to note that although the restrictions have been eased, the epidemic is still with us and is present, so that protection against it must continue to be a priority!
- For those who are unvaccinated or only partially protected (one vaccination completed), it is responsible behaviour to continue wearing a mask to protect yourself and your environment outside of the time you are eating and drinking.
- Remember to wash your hands thoroughly and use an appropriate antiviral hand sanitiser before eating.
- Tables and chairs are placed in a ventilated area at a safe distance of 1.5-2 metres from each other, according to the regulations.
- The tables, chairs, counter and other areas are cleaned with disinfectant on a continuous basis, after each guest.

We are all very happy about the reopening, the sector is basically recovering after a huge slap in the face, but it is certain that the segment will have fewer guests in the coming period compared to previous years: part of Budapest will move to Lake Balaton as the summer season approaches, sometimes only on weekends, sometimes for longer periods, so most of the potential guests will leave the city in summer. In addition, two very important groups are absent from the city: business tourism guests - who were in the city for several days before the pandemic, either for a simple business lunch or for a conference - and private tourists who came to Hungary for pure relaxation and curiosity.
They say there's good in everything bad, and we like to make the best of every situation. So, with the forced closure due to the pandemic, we tried to take a moment of sadness and look at this period as an opportunity, so that we could have many positive moments in comparison. For example, we did not leave you without KIOSK flavours and we put a lot of energy into making our own home delivery even better, a service that became very popular among you during the virus situation and for that we are very grateful!
We've also been working on the renewal of our interior space for a long time, and we've been gathering a lot of ideas and inspiration - and you'll soon be able to enjoy the fruits of our labour. In addition to the interior, we have also invested a lot of time and energy in the exterior. This part of our restaurant has also been extensively renovated, and you will soon be able to enjoy the brand new KIOSK Garden!
We have not only thought about the restaurant, but also updated the look of our colleagues: they are now waiting for you in new work clothes with the greatest of love.
We have also beautified the online space, with a "fresh and crispy" website in the virtual space. We will soon be launching our webshop on the same platform, making it even easier to order your favourite KIOSK products from the comfort of your home or office. How good does it sound?
The renewal was present on all fronts: for the immediate post-closure opening, we dreamed up a new and fresher menu than ever before, full of crowd favourites, with an even stronger emphasis on small local producers, farm-to-table and fresh, seasonal ingredients.
