Many people think that going to a restaurant with children is a real challenge. Little ones don't like a lot of the food in restaurants, simply because they have different tastes and find it tasty than adults. That's why children's menus are a must in child-friendly restaurants. But how is the children's menu different from the adult menu? And which delicious snacks can the little ones choose from at Kiosk?
What's different about the kids' menu?
There is a difference between the kids' and the adults' menu, which is much smaller. The appetite of a small child is smaller than that of an adult, and the portion sizes are therefore different.
It's not just the portions that differ, but also the flavours. Adults tend to eat more salty, spicy foods. They are not afraid of strong flavours and unusual combinations. In contrast, little ones are familiar with the flavours of home, so there's a good chance that traditional seasoning will win the appreciation and favour of the little judges.
Kids' menu at Kiosk
As a child-friendly restaurant, Kiosk naturally thinks of the little ones too, so there's no need to worry that your little one won't find something to his or her liking. The children's menu includes three delicious dishes for the little ones, which we are now presenting.
Spaghetti with tomatoes
Spaghetti is a favourite among the younger generation. A simple yet great dish, which we have of course adapted to the needs of children. We have simplified the deep and light flavours, with basil for an Italian feel, and a little Parmesan to bring out the flavours.
Crispy fried chicken breast
Fried chicken breast is a classic. Many young children eat meat with less enthusiasm than, say, pasta, but the crunchy coating usually makes them want to eat meat. Chicken breasts can be served with any side dish, from fried rice to French fries.
Meat soup
Soup is an important part of lunch. It hydrates, warms, calms and refreshes you, just what you need. Not to mention the fact that a good soup is not only nutritious, it's also delicious. Broth is a source of strength, with everything a child's body needs. At their restaurant, children's broth is served with lots of vegetables and matcha noodles, and the cups are enriched with little chicken rolls.
Fortunately, the number of family-friendly restaurants is growing. This means that more and more restaurant owners are recognising that people want to go out to eat with their children, but they can only do so if there is a place to do so.
Come and take your family to Kiosk!
